General industrial asynchronous squirrel-cage electric motor of AIR series are desined to work three-phase circuits with alternating current of 50 Hz and 60 Hz frequency.
The line of General industrial motors series consists of 56,63,71,80, 90, 100, 112, 132, 160, 180, 200,225, 250, 280, 315 , 355,400 and 450 standart size, with the quality of pole terminal 2,4,6, 8 and 10.

When ambient and operational temperatures are more than 40°C above 0 nominal power must be reduced to 5 % for each 5 °C air raisings.
Maximum ambiant temperature during the operation must not be more than 60 °С.
Nominal power is got in long operating regime when the temperature is 40° and sea level elevation is not more than 1000 m, but safe operation is ensured on even more than 1000 m height to 4300 m above sea level while engine power is reducing.
In the operation on more than 1000 m height to 4300 m engine load must be reduced according to map 1.

Air motors are manufactured with powers tied to dimension type according to GOST 183. The motors are designed for operation in S1 mode.The engines are manufactured in a cast-iron casing, have the level of protection IP55 according to GOST 17494 (fan cowling – IP20) .
The motors are supplied with RTS termistor (termistores with positive temperature coefficient of resistance) for the stator protection from termal overload; or PT-100 sensor could be istalled for the protection of stator and bearing system from thermal overload (this option is proposed according to a customer ‘s agreement).
The motors have insulating system of heat-resistance slass F temperatura index is 155°С). The rise of primary winding temperature over the ambient temperatureof motors which have service factor 1.15 is not more than 83 °С, motors which have service factor 1.1 is not more than 90 °С. In agreement with the customer the motors can be manufactured with temperature class H. The engines are manufactured in the following versions according to the method of GOST mounting 2479:- foot mounting IM1081(В3);- flanged foot mounting – IM2081 (В35)- flanged no foot mounting – IM3081(В5)A more detailed description of the mounting method is given in the catalogue. Motors allow both right and left rotation directions. The direction of rotation must be changed only from the rest position of the rotor. The motors correspond to the operating conditions group M6 – vibration loads corresponding to the degree of rigidity 10a (frequency range 1-100 Hz maximum acceleration 1 g in accordance with GOST 17516.1-90).
The motors with power from variable freguency converter are produced with manufacturer’s agreement ( for this you should fill the order from). The mean-square value of dearing seat vibration speed is not more than 2,8 mm/s.
