General industrial electric motors of series AИР
Asynchronous general industrial electric motors with a closed-loop rotor of the AИР series are designed to operate from a three-phase alternating current network with a frequency of 50 Hz and 60 Hz.
The line of this series of general industrial engines consists of 56, 63, 71, 80, 90, 100, 112, 132, 160, 180, 200, 225, 250, 280, 315 , 355, 400 and 450 standard sizes, with the number of poles 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10.
The installation and connection dimensions and technical characteristics of the engines are listed in the catalog.
Nominal values of climatic factors for engines during operation in working condition — according to GOST 15150 for products of the type of climatic design У, УХЛ, Т.
When the ambient (air) operating temperature exceeds + 40°C The rated power of the electric motors should be reduced by 5% with an increase in temperature for every 5 °C. The maximum ambient temperature during operation should not exceed 60°C.
Rated power is provided in long-term operation at a temperature of 40°С and altitude above sea level no more than 1000m. Although they remain operational at an altitude of more than 1000m to a height of 4300m above sea level, at the same time there is a decrease in engine power.
When operating at an altitude of more than 1000m to 4300m, the load on the engine should be reduced according to Table 1.

Series engines:
—АИР are produced with capacity binding to standard sizes according to DSTU IEC 60034-1:2019;
The engines are designed to operate in S1 mode.
The engines are produced in a cast–iron housing, have a degree of protection IP55 according to DSTU EN 60034-5:2015 (fan casing – IP20).
The electric motors are equipped with РТС thermistors (thermistors with a positive temperature coefficient of resistance) to protect the stator from overheating, or РТ-100 sensors can be installed to protect the stator and bearing assemblies from overheating (optional, in agreement with the customer).
The electric motors have an insulation system of heat resistance class F (temperature index 155°C). At the same time, the temperature of the stator windings exceeds the ambient temperature of engines with a service factor of 1.15 – no more than 83°C, engines with a service factor of 1.1 — no more than 90°C. In agreement with the customer, the engines can be manufactured with a class of heat resistance Н.
The engines are manufactured in the following versions according to the installation method of DSTU EN 60034-7:2015:
– on the paws – IM1081 (В3) for engines up to 250 dimensions inclusive, IM1001 (В3) for engines from 280 dimensions inclusive;
– on legs with a flange – IM2081 (B35) for engines up to 250 dimensions inclusive, IM2001 (B35) for engines from 280 dimensions inclusive;
– without paws with a flange – IM3081 (B5) for engines up to 250 dimensions inclusive, IM3001 (B5) for engines from 280 dimensions inclusive.

The electric motors allow both right and left direction of rotation. The change in the direction of rotation should be carried out only from the rest state of the rotor.
The electric motors correspond to the group of operating conditions M6 — vibration loads corresponding to the degree of rigidity 10a (frequency range 1-100 Hz maximum acceleration 1 g according to GOST 17516.1-90).
In agreement with the manufacturer, electric motors powered by frequency-controlled converters can be manufactured (a questionnaire is filled in for this).
The root-mean-square value of the vibration velocity of the bearing supports does not exceed 2.8 mm/s.

The energy efficiency of an electric motor is the ratio of mechanical output power to input electrical power.
“IE” is the international energy efficiency standard IEC60034-30, adopted in 2008, according to which there are 4 classes:
– IE1 – Standard, with an efficiency of 72.1-94%;
– IE2 – High, with an efficiency of 79.6-95.1%;
– IE3 – Premium, with an efficiency of 82.5-96%;
– IE4 – (Super Premium), efficiency – 85.7-96.7%.
The new EU regulation 2019/1781, which came into force on 01.07.2021, on new rules for the environmental design of electric motors and variable frequency drives, requires electric motors with a power of 0.12 kW to 1000 kW to be manufactured at least at the IE2 level.
