General industrial purpose asynchronous motors with square-cage rotor of 2AIR series are designed for operation from a three-phase alternating current network, with frequency 50 Hz and 60 Hz, with voltage from 220 to 660 V.
The line of this series of general industrial purpose motors consists of 56, 63, 71, 80, 90, 100, 112, 132, 160, 180, 200, 225, 250, 280, 315, 355, 400 and 450 standard sizes, with the quality of poles 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10.
General industrial electric motors AIR are produced with the following energy efficiency classes:
In IEC 60034-30-1 there are such classes of energy efficiency for asynchronous motors (IE = International Efficiency):
- IE1 (Standard Efficiency)
- IE2 (High Efficiency)
- IE3 (Premium Efficiency)

2AIR motors are produced with the connection of powers to standard sizes according to DIN 42673 and DIN 42677 (CENELEC).
The motors are designed for operation at S1 mode.
The engines are manufactured in cast-iron case, have the level of protection IP55.
The engines are equipped with RTC thermistors (with positive coefficient of resistance) for protection the stator from overheating or РТ-100 sensors could be installed for protection of the stator and bearing units from overheating (this option is ordered by a customer).
The motors have an insulation system of class of heat resistance F (thermal index is 155C). With a customer’s agreement the motors could be produced with class of heat resistance H.
General industrial electric motors are manufactured in the following versions according to the installation method:
- on feet – IM1081 (B3)
- on feet with a flange – IM2081 (B35)
- without feet with a flange – IM3081 (B5)

The engines allow both right and left rotation directions. The direction of rotation must be changed only from the rest position of the rotor.
With the manufacturer’s agreement, motors with power from frequency-controlled converters can be manufactured (for this purpose it’s needed to fill the data sheet).
